The Metabo PE 12-175 is a rotary (circular) polisher, meaning the pad spins at a high speed to level automotive paint quickly. Rotary polishers are the choice of most professional detailers because they are sometimes the only way to remove deep scratches and severe oxidation. Even if a detailer uses a dual action polisher most of the time, he has a rotary on hand for the tough jobs.

Metabo PE 12-175 Circular Polisher
The Metabo PE 12-175 is a German-made, professional quality circular buffer with incredible torque, rugged construction, and a powerful 1200 Watt motor – all packed into a surprisingly lightweight machine. If you’ve been waiting for the right machine to come along before stepping up to a rotary, the Metabo is the buffer you’ve been waiting for. The Metabo polisher has an exopy-coated Marathon Motor, Vario-Tacho-Constamatic for continuously controlled speed, and an ergonomic front cap for comfortable, prolonged use.
6 Inch Hook & Loop Rotary Flexible Backing Plate
Made of heat-resistant, molded urethane, our 6 inch rotary backing plate is the best backing plate you can buy for a high speed circular polisher. The center of the plate is reinforced with steel struts for durability and the flexible urethane lip bends to match the curves and contours of your vehicle. The 6 inch plate fits neatly inside the raised lip of the 7.5 inch foam pads.
CCS 7.5 Inch Orange Light Cutting Pad
The orange light cutting foam is firm, high density foam for scratch and defect removal. Use this pad with polishes and swirl removers. It’s an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections. (By far the best, most expensive and hardest for us to get—everyone from automobile manufacturers to you and I want them. You’ll see why!)
 2 CCS 7.5 Inch White Polishing Pads
The white pad features a less dense foam formula for the application of waxes, micro-fine polishes and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so it’s perfect for pre-wax cleaners.
2 CCS 7.5 Inch Black Finishing Pads
The black pad’s composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls. It has no cut and will apply thin, even coats of waxes, sealants, and glazes.
2 CCS 7.5 Inch Blue Finessing Pads
The blue pad has a soft composition for applying glaze, finishing polish, sealants, and liquid waxes. The CCS pockets reduce absorption of liquid waxes to keep products on the work surface of the pad.
2 Cobra Microfiber Detailing Towels, 16 x 16 inches
Constructed of the finest quality microfibers the Cobra Detailing Towel sets the standard with an outstanding 80/20 blend of polyester/polyamide filament, woven so densely they boast over 200,000 strands of fiber per square inch of fabric! These strands are nearly invisible to the naked eye, and are 100 times smaller than a human hair! Use this cloth for cleaning, buffing, and wiping away wax.
Cobra Quik Clenz 2 oz. Packet
Wash used foam and wool pads in Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner. Dissolve this 2 oz. packet into 2-3 gallons of water. Soak pads and microfiber tools in the solution for up to 15 minutes and agitate if necessary. The citrus cleaner quickly breaks up oily residues within foam and wool to restore the texture of the pads. Let the pads air dry, backing side up.
The Metabo Complete Kit is half of the equation. Once you have the polisher and the pads, select XMT Series swirl removers or Menzerna polishes. Both lines perform well on all types of paint and they’ll leave your vehicle looking flawless.
