The Edge 2000 Wool Buffing Pads are the only double-sided wool pads in the world! They use the patented Edge 2000 Quick Change System, which automatically centers each pad on the adapter. The Edge 2000 6 Inch Wool Buffing Pad help you get great results with consistently high quality wool from one domestic importer.

The Edge 2000 6 Inch Wool Buffing Pads are designed to help you use the pads properly and therefore get better results than with conventional wool pads. Edge’s adapter fits snugly within a plastic plate in the center of each pad. The adapter keeps the pad centered and balanced during operation to avoid cookie-cutting and holograms. The plush wool wraps around the center plate on all sides so the plate is never exposed.

The Edge 2000 6 Inch Wool Buffing Pads are made of twisted wool. Twisted wool is denser and more abrasive than non-twisted wool. Also, the variety of wool and percentage of wool affects each pad’s “cut”. The Edge 2000 6 Inch Wool Buffing Pads are available in four varieties:

	Black Heavy Cut 100% Domestic Wool Pad The black pad is ideally suited for deep swirls, severe scratches, pitting, and defects. It removes wet sand marks and severe oxidation with the help of a compound or heavy cut swirl remover.
	Yellow Medium Cut 50% Wool, 50% Wool Acrylic Pad The yellow wool pad is moderately aggressive. It removes swirls and moderate scratches, and reduces significant pits and deeper scratches. Use a swirl remover with the yellow pad when aggressive cutting is not needed.
	Green Light Cut 40% Wool, 20% Acrylic, 40% Rayon Pad The green pad produces beautiful results with one step cleaner polishes. It has enough cut for cleaning the removing very light imperfections on paints that are in overall good condition.
	Blue Finishing 70% Acrylic, 30% Wool Pad Use the blue pad for general polishing and gloss-enhancement. The blue pad can be used with any finishing polish to bring out a fine luster on any finish.
	White Ultrafine Finishing Australian Lambswool Pad One of a kind! This silky 100% lambswool pad adds a mirror-like glow to the paint. Use the baby-soft lambswool pad with a glaze or ultrafine finishing polish. This should be the last pad that touches your paint before wax application.

The Edge 2000 6 Inch Wool Buffing Pads are 6 inches in diameter. We recommend using wool pads with a rotary polisher. Use the Edge Drive Adapter 5/6” Thread (E-206). To install a pad onto the buffer, screw the adapter onto the polisher and press the center of the pad onto the adapter. It is a very snug fit and does take some force. Place the pad on a flat surface and press down on the polisher to pop the adapter into place. To release the pad, press the release button on the bottom of the adapter.

The Edge 2000 6 Inch Wool Buffing Pads are made of wool from a domestic US supplier for quality and consistency (with the exception of the white pad). The self-centering Quick Change System and the high quality wool help you achieve consistently flawless results.
